In the world of theatre, I currently work as an associate MD on Mamma Mia the Party at the O2. A career highlight was working as Keys 1 and Assistant MD on the Michael Jackson show 'Thriller Live' in the West End between 2014-2020. I've also been lucky enough to open The Beatles show 'Let it Be' on Broadway, in the West End and several international tours. I also worked on the West End show The Drifters Girl as deputy MD/Keys 1 and also on Keys 2 / Guitar 2 during 2022. I also was MD / Guitar 1 for the 20th Century Boy UK tour. Other West End depping / touring includes Mamma Mia (Keys 3 and 4), Priscilla Queen of the Desert (Keys 2), Jersey Boys (Guitar 2), MD of Thriller Live International Tour (Guitar 1 and Keys 2/Guitar 2).
There's no better feeling for me than sitting deep in a groove. My approach is always to play parts in a way that allows the other musicians in the band to sound good and have the space to play theirs. I always believe that the silence is just as groovy as the notes. I'm also a strong reader and I'm able to do gigs with little or no rehearsals. I also pride myself on my programming ability and being able to recreate almost any sound or sample in a live situation.

LIVE RIG
I'll go to painstaking lengths to get sounds as close to the record as possible, whether it's 80s synths, strings, brass or SFX, I can pull these out in a live situation. I've studied synthesis so I find it fairly straightforward to recreate most sounds required.
Every gig is different. Some only require 1 keyboard, others perhaps 2 or 3. Some gigs, I'll use a laptop in addition. Once I know what is required of me in terms of parts, style etc, I'll then begin to work out what gear I'm going to prep. Here's a list of my keyboards I use on gigs:

I’m active as a composer for film and TV as well as being able to offer remote recordings for piano and guitar.
My studio is equipped with the latest high-end workstations Nord Stage 3 HA88, Nord Stage 2 HA88, Yamaha CP88, Yamaha MODX8, Korg Kronos X 73, Korg Kronos 2 88, Hammond XK3C, Hohner Clavinet E7, Roland D50, Yamaha DX7II, Roland XP30, Dave Smith Prophet Rev 2. Guitars include a Suhr Pro Series, Fender Telecaster, Fender Stratocaster, Jackson Dinky, Musicman Luke and a Fender Jazz bass.
I have a vast arsenal of software synths and plugins including numerous Spitfire Audio libraries, Komplete 13 Ultimate collection, Arturia V collection, Symphobia, East West libraries, Superior Drummer, Serum, Omnisphere, Stylus and Cinesamples Brass collections just to name a few.
